The Mendota Sweet Corn Festival takes place Thursday, August 7th Friday, August 8th Saturday, August 9th; and Sunday, August 10th. The calendar of events and other general information is below.

Mendota Community Hospital presents "Cornapalooza," a 5K/10K Run & 5K Fitness Walk. Race begins and ends at Mendota Community Hospital. Participants will encounter rural Mendota and its rolling hills & sights. Awards, giveaways & some great corny food for all that participate. Fresh Del Monte Sweet Corn is available by the bag on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons to take home with you. 2 Locations - corner of 8th St./Rt. 34-across from MFC Builders Supplies and on the corner of Washington Street and 13th Ave / Rt. 251 in Prescott Bros. Parking Lot.
Over 80 Booth Vendors line the streets in downtown with an abundance of tasty treats and interesting merchandise throughout the Festival.
All Festival activities take place in the downtown area except for the Tennis Tournament and Fly-In, Drive-In Breakfast.
